Beginning at $3100*, our 14-day tour takes you from the Mediterranean Sea to the Sahara Desert, and everything in between. Whether it's a camel ride across sand dunes, shopping in the old medinas, or relaxing on the beach, each day will bring a new adventure in this colorful, welcoming country.
Fly into Rabat, Morocco, and your guide will drive you to your hotel in Meknes. From there, you will have a chance to have a massage to rejuvenate you after the long flight. Afterwards, your guide will take you to the market in front of the Bab Mansour Gate, and then to dinner.
After breakfast, you will begin your trip to the north. You will arrive at your hotel in Tangier, and then refresh with a stop at a cafe on the beach. That afternoon, you will visit some of the breathtaking views outside of Tangier. In the evening, you will take a stroll through downtown Tangier, crossing from the ancient structures that have been there for centuries, into the modern, bustling city it has become. That night, you have the option to head out to a nightclub with live Moroccan music, or a dance club.
After breakfast, you will be heading west of Tangier to visit the Cave of Hercules. Mythology holds that he dug out the cave to create a place to rest after battling a giant. After the Cave, you will continue on to Asilah, a city that traces its history as far back as 1500 BCE. You will return to Tangier for dinner, and again have your choice of evening activities.
After breakfast, it will be time to head east of Tangier, visiting Sebta, a Spanish territory in Morocco, and Tetouan, the other major port city along the Moroccan coast. You will have dinner before going back to Tangier, and again have your choice of evening activities.
After breakfast, you will leave Tangier and head to Fes, where you will have lunch and explore both the old and new medinas. This will also be the perfect place to do some shopping, as you can find anything you're looking for in Fes. After dinner, you will be driven back to the hotel in Meknes.
After breakfast, you will go explore the Roman ruins at Volubilis, just outside of Meknes. After lunch, you will return to visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the Dar Jamai in Meknes.
After breakfast, you will begin the trip to the south. There will be several stops along the way to enjoy the views, and you will arrive in Merzouga in time to check in and have dinner. That evening will be spent relaxing at the hotel, enjoying the music and entertainment.
After breakfast, you will meet up with a local guide who will drive you into the desert. You will visit a Gnawa village to listen to their music, take pictures with Fennec foxes, stop for tea at a nomadic camp, and drive up the sand dunes. After the tour, there is a bit of time to relax before heading back out in the desert, this time on camel. You will ride the camel to the camp in the Sahara where you will have dinner and spend the night.
After some tea in the morning, you will head back, on camel, to the hotel for breakfast. You will then go into Rissani to see the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and visit the market, which will be a great place to shop for souvenirs. You will then continue on to Ouarzazate, where you will check in to the hotel in time for dinner.
After breakfast, you will go visit the Dadas Gorges. In the afternoon, you will visit the Medina of Ouarzazate, then back to the hotel for dinner.
After breakfast, you will head to Marrakech. On the way, you will visit the mountain village of Ourika. Once in Marrakech, you will spend the evening exploring the famous marketplace, Jamaa el Fna. As the sun goes down, you will be able to watch various performers, and have dinner at one of the numerous food stalls that set up in the evening.
After breakfast, you will take some time to relax from your busy weekend. You will have options for spa services.
After breakfast, you will travel to Agadir, where you will spend the day exploring the waterfront and visiting the Agadir Kasbah. After dinner, you will have the opportunity to go to a night club.
After breakfast, you will begin your trip to Rabat. Once in Rabat, you will visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, as well as the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. After dinner, it will be back to the hotel to pack, as your guide will be taking you to the airport the next morning for your flight.
