Itinerary:

  • MAR 6 - DEPART NEW YORK

    • Depart New York on an overnight flight to Casablanca via Royal Air Maroc.  

  • MAR 7 - CASABLANCA, MEKNES, FES

    • Arrive in Casablanca and meet your driver and guide.  Journey to Meknes, where you will enjoy lunch followed by a tour and tasting at Morocco’s premier winery.  Head to Fes for a time to refresh before dinner at La Maison Bleue. Overnight in Fes. Lunch and dinner included.

  • MAR 8 - FES

    • Tour Fes with a private guide.  Begin at the Royal Palace, stroll through the Mellah, visit the Jewish Cemetery, and tour the old medina.  Enjoy lunch in the medina. Overnight in Fes.  Lunch included.

  • MAR 9 - ATLAS MOUNTAINS, MERZOUGA

    • Begin your journey south, traveling over the Atlas Mountains to reach the Sahara.  Stop along the way to visit the wild monkeys outside Azrou, enjoy lunch in Zayda, and take in the stunning scenery as it changes from farmland to mountains to desert.  Arrive in Merzouga in the evening. Dinner at your riad. Overnight in Merzouga. Lunch and dinner included.

  • MAR 10 - SAHARA DESERT

    • Optional quad excursion into the Sahara Desert in the morning ($50 fee).  Take an SUV excursion into the desert, visiting the Gnawa village with its entrancing music, enjoy tea with a nomad family, and ride up the red dunes.  Lunch in the Sahara. In the afternoon, meet your camels for a trek into the luxury camp. Dinner at the camp, followed by live music around the campfire.  Overnight in the Sahara. Lunch and dinner included.

  • MAR 11 - RISSANI, BOUMALNE DADES

    • Depart camp and head in to Rissani to for tea in a 17th century neighborhood.  Continue on to Boumalne, stopping for lunch along the way. Hike through the beautiful Rose Valley, where you will find all manner of trees, including walnut, olive, pomegranate, and almond.  Dinner at your hotel. Overnight in Boumalne. Lunch and dinner included.

  • MAR 12 - OUARZAZATE, MARRAKECH

    • Head to Ouarzazate, where you will visit Ait Benhaddou, the Unesco World Heritage Site before having lunch in a local riad.  Continue on over the Atlas Mountains once more via Tichka Pass, reaching Marrakech in the late evening. Check into your hotel.  Overnight in Marrakech. Lunch included.

  • MAR 13 - MARRAKECH

    • Tour Marrakech in the morning, visiting the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and Jardin Majorelle.  Enjoy a free afternoon, or explore the souks with the guide. That evening, enjoy Moroccan hospitality with a family dinner.  Overnight in Marrakech. Dinner included.

  • MAR 14 - MARRAKECH

    • In the morning, learn to make traditional Moroccan dishes so you can bring a piece of Morocco home to share with your friends and family.  Enjoy the fruits of your kitchen labors for lunch. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city further, enjoy a traditional hammam and massage, or wander the souks.  Overnight in Marrakech. Lunch included.

  • MAR 15 - DEPARTURE

    • After an early breakfast, travel to Casablanca for your return flight to New York.
