Agadir

Spend the day exploring Agadir, a Moroccan city located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, with a private guide. Agadir is known for its history, beaches, and souks (traditional markets). The city was founded in 1510 by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan. However, it was later destroyed by an earthquake in 1960.

Today, Agadir is a popular tourist destination due to its beautiful beaches and history. Visitors can explore the city's Souk El Had, which is one of the largest traditional markets in Morocco. They can also visit the Agadir Oufella ruins, which are the remnants of a 16th-century Portuguese fort.

Visit an Argan co-op, where you'll meet the women who produce this precious oil and learn about the fascinating process of extracting argan oil. You’ll see how they gently extract the oil from the nuts, using only their hands and a few simple tools.

You'll also learn about the many uses of argan oil, from cooking and cosmetics to traditional medicine. And of course, you'll have a chance to sample some of this delicious oil for yourself!
