Terms and Conditions
Purchaser and/or traveler of this tour (YOU) acknowledges that Wanderlust Voyages, LLC is acting as an independent intermediary (Travel Agent) between YOU and SUPPLIERS of goods and services which are not directly supplied by Wanderlust Voyages, LLC, such as air transportation, hotel, accommodation, ground and sea transportation, tours, tour guides, escorts, etc., and shall not be responsible for actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which may result in loss, damage, delay or injury to you or your travel companions or group members. Wanderlust Voyages and any organization contracting its services shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, war, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside their control.
By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all the risk. Your booking shall constitute a consent to the above, and engaging Wanderlust Voyages acknowledges these conditions and agrees to hold Wanderlust Voyages blameless in making the arrangements on his/her behalf, and agrees that restitution or damages, if any are claimed, shall be sought directly from the suppliers.
DEPOSIT AND REGISTRATION
A deposit of $500.00 per traveler is required with a reservation application, which is completed online at www.wanderlustvoyagestravel.com, or in person with an authorized Wanderlust Voyages, LLC representative. Your deposit is used to guarantee your space. Deposits will be refunded in the event the tour does not meet the minimum number of travelers necessary to make the trip possible, or if you send a cancellation request in writing to info@wanderlustvoyagestravel.com within two (2) weeks of the deposit being made.
FINAL PAYMENTS
Full payment must be made no later than 45 days prior to departure, unless otherwise stated in writing. Intermediary payments will be invoiced as necessary, where applicable. Payments may be made by check, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. If payment is not received as scheduled, your reservation may be automatically cancelled, and your deposit payment becomes forfeit.
PRICE
Rates shown on website are based on double occupancy and are as per each program’s inclusions. All prices are shown in U.S. Dollars and are calculated on currency rates at the time of offer. Wanderlust Voyages reserves the right to alter prices at any time prior to departure and without prior notice if circumstances so warrant. Any devaluation or revaluation of currencies may affect published prices.
NOT INCLUDED
Items of a personal nature, such as telephone calls, mini bar, laundry, food or beverages outside of noted meals, alcohol, spa services, or optional activities are not included. These extra items will be billed to you before leaving the hotel, restaurant, or service provider. Please see the details of each specific tour for a full list of what is included/excluded on that tour.
PASSPORTS, VISAS, & DOCUMENTS
A valid U.S. passport is required for all U.S. citizens. If you do not have a valid passport, please contact your closest passport office. Passports must be valid at least 6 months after the date of entry. U.S. or Canadian citizens do not need to obtain visas for most countries Wanderlust Voyages travels to. For all other nationalities, please consult the country’s consulate. When and if a visa is required, it is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain one. Cancellations due to lack of appropriate documents will incur usual penalties.
FINAL DOCUMENTS
Final documents are issued upon receipt of final payment only and within 2 weeks of departure. Documents are not guaranteed if final payment is not received on time. Upon receipt of your documents you are responsible to check your itinerary, spelling of your name, dates, time and other important information to insure their validity. Should your final documents have any errors, it is the passenger’s responsibility to contact Wanderlust Voyages immediately.
PARTICIPATION
Wanderlust Voyages and suppliers contracted for services reserve the right to refuse to accept or retain any person whose behavior is deemed likely to affect the smooth operations of a tour, or adversely affect the enjoyment or safety of other passengers. Wanderlust Voyages, its agents, and suppliers shall be under no liability to any such person for refund, compensation, repatriation, or any other matter arising.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Once a deposit or partial/full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received. Cancellations will be subject to a $500.00 per person administration fee. Refunds of additional funds paid will be issued according to the following schedule: 61+ days prior to departure: full refund, minus the $500.00 administrative fee; 60 - 46 days prior to departure 70% refund; 45 - 31 days prior to departure 30% refund; 30 days or less prior to departure NO refund. Additionally, once tickets are issued the ticket value is non-refundable. Requests for a refund must be in writing (e-mail to info@wanderlustvoyagestravel.com). Phone calls cannot be used as a form of cancellation. Refunds will be issued within 30 to 60 days of receipt of written notice. No changes of names or substitutions are permitted. No refund or cancellation fees will be waived due to death or sickness. PANDEMIC EXCEPTION - While there is a State of Emergency due to the pandemic that requires a negative COVID-19 test to enter the country, proof of a positive test result will be eligible for a full refund, minus the $500 administration fee and (where applicable) the cost of the airline ticket.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
You are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for your travel investment. Wanderlust Voyages will provide you with an option to purchase travel insurance within 7 days of your deposit.
AIR TRANSPORTATION
Air transportation is in economy class on IATA-approved carriers. Ticketing must be completed no later than 14 days prior to departure. Fares are based on levels in effect at the time of printing and prices and schedules are subject to change without notice. All is subject to the airlines terms of carriage. Wanderlust Voyages is not responsible for any cancellations, loss, delays, injury, illness, or expenses incurred due to actions made by the airlines. Business class is available at additional cost. For any issues which arise in relation to airline service complaints and compensation should be addressed to the specific carrier.
SEAT ASSIGNMENT
Random seats are assigned for all group participants. If you would like to secure a specific seat, or sit with a companion, please advise us of such request at the time of booking, and we will make an effort to accommodate you, although we cannot guarantee that such seating will be available. Seats are at the discretion of the airline and seats are pending availability, subject to aircraft/seat map changes.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy rooms (either twin-bedded or single bedded). Wanderlust Voyages reserves the right to substitute similar category hotels without prior notice.
PRIVATE ROOMS AND SINGLE SUPPLEMENT
A limited number of single rooms are available at the supplement price. Single rooms may be smaller than twin or double rooms. If travelers are traveling alone and wish to have Wanderlust Voyages assign a roommate, we will do our best, but cannot guarantee any available roommates. If a roommate is not available, the traveler will be responsible for the additional Single Supplemental fees.
MEALS
Most trips include breakfast daily, and may include additional meals (please see individual tour information for precise details) which are served at your hotel or local restaurants which have been pre-booked. Beverages are not included with meals unless otherwise indicated. In case you choose not to have a meal, there is no refund for unused meals. We will try to accommodate all special meal requests on flights and hotels if you advise us of any such requests at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee that all special meal/dietary requests can be met.
BAGGAGE
Each traveler is permitted to bring one checked suitcase, weighing no more than 50 lbs, one golf bag, one small carry-on bag (8” x 14” x 22”), and one personal item (e.g., purse, laptop, etc.). Travelers are responsible for any additional baggage fees for excess, overweight, or oversized baggage. Wanderlust Voyages is not responsible for the loss of, theft of, delay, or damage to a participant’s belongings.
RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE
Wanderlust Voyages acts as a Tour Manager. The suppliers providing transportation, sightseeing arrangements, and hotel accommodations for the tour program are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of Wanderlust Voyages. All coupons, receipts, and tickets issued are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers. By utilizing the services of the suppliers, you agree that Wanderlust Voyages will not be liable for any change in flight or itinerary schedule, strikes, delay, acts of governments, fires, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, accident, loss, injury, or damage to you or those traveling with you in connection to any accommodations, transportation, or other services, or resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrence or conditions beyond its control, including defects in vehicles, breakdown in equipment, thefts, delay, or cancellation of or changes in itinerary for any act, omission or event during the time you are on board the aircraft. Neither Wanderlust Voyages nor agents of the airlines concerned are to be held responsible for the late arrival of passengers at airports or hotels due to inclement weather, nor are they to be held liable for payment or any refund for transfers or unused hotel accommodations or meals occasioned by such late arrivals at the hotels holding rooms as confirmed itineraries. Passengers must bear all such losses or expenses. In circumstances where trip cancellations resulting from the inability for trip to depart as scheduled, such as cancellations due to acts of war, terrorism, or nature takes place, Wanderlust Voyages is not liable for restitution. Though every effort will be made to follow the itinerary, it should be considered as an indication of the tour, rather than a contract of places to be visited. Occasionally, local religious holidays, national days, traffic conditions, or other events may necessitate changes in the sequence of visits or the missing of certain visits.
SPECIAL MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND THOSE WHO NEED SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
You must report any disability requiring special attention to Wanderlust Voyages at the time of registration for any tour. We make every effort to accommodate disabled passengers by reserving for them wheelchair assistance at airports and handicap accessible rooms where available. However, we cannot guarantee and are not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. Be aware that our tours operate outside the U.S., where the Americans with Disabilities Act is not applicable and facilities for disabled individuals are limited. Most transportation services, including the touring motor coaches, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to any tour participant for walking, dining, while in their room, on flight, getting on or off any vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified and physically able companion must accompany passengers who need special assistance. It is the traveler’s responsibility to arrange for such assistance prior to making their reservation. Motorized scooters are unsuitable and impossible to accommodate. Wanderlust Voyages is not responsible for any medical condition that occurs prior, during, or after the tour. Additionally, airlines are not able to guarantee or provide assistance for disabled passengers including special seating. Pregnant and breastfeeding women considering international travel should be advised to evaluate the potential problems associated with international travel, as well as the quality of medical care available at the destination and during transit.
YOUNG TRAVELERS
Travelers who are less than 18 years old on the departure date must be accompanied by an adult. Due to heightened security, many countries have adopted practices to prevent international abduction of children. If a child will be traveling with adults other than the parent(s), it is recommended that a notarized letter be written by the parent(s) granting authorization to travel, including the dates of travel. For the purposes of Wanderlust Voyages tours, an infant is defined as anyone who is under the age of 24 months for the entire duration of the trip. A child is defined as anyone between the ages of 24 months and 11 years for the entire duration of their trip.
SAFETY
Please be aware that during your participation on tours operated by Wanderlust Voyages, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control, including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; traveling by boat, train, automobile, aircraft, camel, or other means of transportation; the forces of nature; political unrest; and/or accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. Wanderlust Voyages does not have liability regarding provisions of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. Wanderlust Voyages is not responsible for compensation for cities/sites omitted from the itinerary due to circumstances beyond its control.
TOUR CANCELLATION BY OPERATOR
Be advised that from time to time a tour departure may be cancelled due to lack of participation. In such cases, the operator’s sole responsibility is to provide a full refund. Wanderlust Voyages is not responsible and does not assume responsibility for any additional costs or any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not made through Wanderlust Voyages. Cancellations due to state advisories and/or state warnings, acts of war, terrorism, natural disaster, or any circumstances outside the control of Wanderlust Voyages are not the fault of Wanderlust Voyages. Cancellation for any of these reasons will not be eligible for a refund through Wanderlust Voyages. Great effort will be made to accommodate travelers to another trip, and travelers will have the opportunity to reschedule for a private trip, which may include an additional cost.
PRINTING DISCLAIMER
Wanderlust Voyages is not responsible for typographical or print errors, including errors in trip cost. Any discounts may not be combined with other promotions or discounts. We reserve the right to re-invoice or correct billing at any time.
