GIBRALTAR
Recommended length of stay: 1 - 3 nights
Located in southern Spain, Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory and has been known throughout history as a strategic military outpost. English and Spanish are both spoken in the area, making it accessible to many international visitors. Travelers can cross the Strait of Gibraltar and venture from Africa to Europe in just a few short hours!
We work with professional private guides in the city for the Rock of Gibraltar, with options for 2-, 4- or 6-hour tours. Military history buffs will love the tours that go through the extensive tunnels. These systems were created primarily by the British Army during the second World War. Take a peek at the tunnels in our Gibraltar tour video! There is also a wonderful downtown and marina for more laid-back strolls.
MALAGA
Recommended length of stay: 2 - 5 nights
Steeped in a rich cultural history, Malaga boasts a wealth of must-see attractions, including an ancient Roman theatre, a historic district and a number of museums. It’s Mediterranean location makes the beaches inviting during the fall & winter months! For travelers craving more of the great outdoors, Malaga is also home to a number of well-known hiking trails, including the Caminito del Rey.
Visitors can stop in the many bars, cafes and restaurants in the area. We highly recommend a tapas tour when visiting Malaga. Our private guide partners will take you on a sublime culinary adventure! Wine tastings and market tours are also available throughout the year. Malaga is especially lively during the holiday season, with light festivals and Christmas markets adding to the festive mood.
After exploring Malaga, travelers can choose to continue on to Madrid by train or return home through the Malaga Airport.
